Barton
The family dog bit a big chunk of my lip off. It left me with a jaunty smile! I came here to be in a safer place.
Cheese
I live in Gotham City, a small field for me and my family of 11. We fight crime all day. Just kidding! We just eat and sleep 😊
Cowboy
I’ve been here for more than a decade! My human parents got in trouble for animal abuse. I have lots of family and piggy friends to hang out with.
Dozer
My human family abandoned me at a rental home. The landlord was nice enough to get help for me and now I live in a big field with lots of pigs. I love it!
Faline
I came here when I was a baby after my human mom got arrested for animal abuse. Now I’m all grown up and the boss of the North Field herd.
Goldie
I’m part of the Lil’ East Field herd along with my brothers and sisters, Malachi, Chet, Leroy Lee, Sparkle, Jeremiah, and Melody.
Gretel
Hansel and I came here a couple of years ago because our mom said we were too expensive to keep. We’ve both made a ton of new friends here!
Gummer
My human parents moved to an apartment and were smart enough to realize that wouldn’t work for me. I have lots of space to explore in my field here.
Hamlet
I came here when my family moved away. I love living in the Main Field. My bestie is Roxanne. She’s so sweet!
Hercules
I got sort of aggressive with the kids at my home, so I came here. I’m so much happier and at ease being with other pigs in the Comanche’s Field herd.
Louise
I came here with my sister, Thelma planning to just board here while our family looked for a new house, but we ended up becoming permanent residents.
Miley
Ironwood literally saved my bacon because I was being raised for food. Yikes! My family and I are so lucky and happy to be here!
Mozart
I used to bust out of my pen all the time and run loose in the neighborhood. I’m much better behaved and happier living at Ironwood!
Napoleon
I came here from California where I’d been living at a dog shelter. Boy, was I glad to get away from those scary, barking dogs!
Pearl
After my owner died, my family of 7 and I were locked inside a horse trailer and left to die. A neighbor heard our cries and saved us. Phew!
Phil & Puppy
We live in the Far East Field with a big herd of piggies. We are good buddies but also have a whole gang we enjoy hanging out with.
Pua
I was bought from a breeder of “micro mini” pigs. That translates into starving me to keep me small! My human mom got in trouble with her HOA and had to get rid of me. Yay! Now I can eat like a pig is supposed to!
Riley
My mom was rescued and came here to give birth to me and my brothers. The boys have a field of our own called the Frat House. How cool is that!
Rupert
I live in one of the “retirement” fields for the old folks. It is such a quiet, peaceful place. I have made some close friends here.
Señor Piggles, Anderson, Teddy, and Dudley
It gets really hot here in the desert, but we know how to stay cool!
Shakira, She-ra, and Shelley
My daughters, She-ra and Shelley, love to relax with me under our favorite palo verde tree on hot days.
Shaq
I’m one of the littlest guys out here, but I have a big personality! You can pet me a few times, then I’ll let you know I’ve had enough.
Shelley
I live in the Main Field with a big herd of pigs. I’ve made lots of friends, but still like hanging with my mom and sister the most.
Teddy
I’m the feisty guy in Lil’ East Field! I have lots of buddies, but I also get in lots of fights. Working on the self-control…it’s tough!
Wilbert
Most days you can find me napping under my favorite creosote bush or in a wallow if it’s hot or in my house if it’s cold. I love napping anywhere, any time!
Wilburt
I’m a mixed breed pig with these cool dangly things called wattles on my jawline. I’m also bigger than my pot-bellied pig friends.
Willow & Gibson
We’re mother and son, happily living in a big field with the rest of our family and a large herd. It’s amazing to have so much space!
Blossom and Ivan
We are sister and brother, rescued in 2023 after our human went to prison. So glad we ended up here together!
Hemingway, Tony, & Humphrey
We were each rescued from different places within a few months of one another. Now we're best buddies!
Oscar B. and Natasha
We both came here in 2017 from different homes then became good friends after living in the same herd.
Rubble
I was a stray who had the great luck of wandering onto the property of a lady who worked at Ironwood. She knew just what to do!
